When did this happen? It went very unnoticed during the game when he scored 18 and dished out 11.
Great. Can this team get any more snake-bit?
He got hacked with about 4 minutes left. He favored it until he got taken out.
He got hurt at the 10:56 mark in the 2nd half. After he made his free throws he was taken out. The rest of the game he did everything with his left hand.
Here is the video of the play: http://www.sbnation.com/2012-ncaa-tournament/2012/3/18/2883149/kendall-marshall-injury-video-broken-wrist
big gulps huh? welp, see ya later.
If Marshall can't go, who plays point??
If Marshall can't go, who plays point??
Creighton was the dirtiest team I've seen in a while
Wah...wah....suck it up tarholes.A good team always finds a way to win.Stop crying UNCheat!! Kentucky would have spanked you anyway!
I can't imagine UNC advancing if Marshall can't play. It's a shame that he had to get hurt because I don't want to see Kentucky cut down the nets!
So, good teams find a way to win. That must mean there are only a handful of good teams, because there's only going to be 16 playing after tonight. You take out three front-line players from a team and it's supposed to suck it up? That's childish.
Recovery
Whether your scaphoid fracture requires surgery or not, you will need to wear a cast or splint while the fracture heals. This may be for as long as 6 months. During this period of healing, unless approved by your doctor:
Avoid heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or throwing with the injured arm
Do not participate in contact sports
Do not climb ladders or trees
Avoid activities with a risk of falling onto hand (for example, inline skating, jumping on a trampoline)
ahhhhh, the 2nd reason the tarholes will need to explain why they didn't win the national championship this year. Go cry with the dookies. ahahahahahahaha!
If Coach Roy can win 2 more games with this situation, he will go down as the best coach in NCAA basketball. For the idiot UK fan on here and the other yahoo that talks smack about the Heels going "home", you must have been truly scared to talk so much trash.
It was very clear early on that Cretin's only strategy was to "Goon Up" on UNC. First the little punk #10 smacks Henson's injured wrist three times after the whistle, and winks to the bench as if to say "just like you told me, coach". Then #00 gives a double forearm shiver to Zeller (see video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IYQ0m-nSoA). #00 should have received a Flagrant 2 and with it immediate ejection. Instead the refs ignored the play entirely, which gave the other Cretin players sanction to continue playing GoonBall, as exemplified by #34's takedown of Marshall.
Cretin Bluejays = NCAA equivalent of the Saints' Bounty Squad.
It's too bad Marshall got hurt. That being said, Creighton isn't the only team that has dirty plays. In fact, I'm sure every team in every level of basketball has played dirty from time to time, tried to exploit injuries, or played with a complete lack of sportsmanship. Carolina included. I have a hard time remembering a team whose coach left the court because they were being beat so badly, or another team (other than Duke) who flops as much as UNC.
Won't get a lot of sympathy here from Duke or UK fans...they lost Kyrie and Enes Kanter last year and had to deal with it. Man up.
Sorry, clown Enes Kanter was a pro
At least this means he'll probably come back next year, keep this team out of the NIT again...
Heels have been handed the easiest bracket region I've ever seen, and I've been watching bball for a while. They'll coast until the Elite 8 with or without him.
Ohio? Really? Ohio? Can you say lucky?
11:10,
Kansas's road is even easier:
- #15 seed
- #10 seed instead of #7 seed
- #11 seed instead of #3 or #6
- either a #13 seed or a team with only two healthy year-long starters
Remember, that 10th seed was Purdue; and they almost knocked them off. Thank goodness they won. Tarheelnation needs Kansas to put NC State in their place so that NC has Kansas for the final four berth.
2:06 PM are you trying to argue that Purdue and NC State are easier games than Creighton and friggin' Ohio??
Easiest bracket ever...

oh that was so bad luck for Kendall Marshall and his team as well because they really needed him while he was out due to that injury
