Duke's Ryan Kelly to miss ACC tournament

DURHAM – Duke forward Ryan Kelly sprained his right foot in practice on Tuesday and will miss the ACC Tournament.

Kelly is averaging 11.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season. The junior will be monitored over the week and re-evaluated Monday.

The Blue Devils open the ACC tournament on Friday against the winner of the Virginia Tech-Clemson game.

I'm not sure this hurts all that much. He mostly shot from the outside anyway and this might allow Duke to play the Plumlees more together and run a 3 guard offense.

They won't make it past Saturday now. FSU or Miami will knock them off now. Too bad. Go Duke!

Duke is Sweet 16 all the way!

Now's the time for Josh Hairston to fill in for RK and provide dOOk with the 1-8 shooting that Kelly always provided.

Smart of K to hold him out. All of these conference tourneys are a joke. For the first time in my life I agree with Calipari.
