Davidson's Stephen Curry was named Southern Conference player of the year and forward Andrew Lovedale was named second-team all-conference in voting by the media, released Tuesday by the league.
The Citadel's Ed Conroy was named coach of the year.

Stephen Curry is the SoCon Player of the Year. And in other breaking news, snow is cold and it gets dark at night...
Good to see Conroy get COY. As a Davidson fan, I love seeing McKillop get recognition. However, what Conroy has done this year at The Citadel is remarkable. He is without a doubt the SoCon COY.
