I wonder if the 2 schools together can sell out the arena. Seperately, they were unable to do so on Friday.

I went to the games on Friday. They were fun, but the tickets are just expensive. I don't think it's an indictment on the fans in Charlotte. I just think a lot of people have to use that money on other things.

Let's face some facts. Most of the UNC fans are not from what can be called the upper eshelons of society. Most of the actual UNC grads I know stayed home. The modern day UNC fan seems to be one of wearing a tee shirt they bought at Walmart and never having stepped foot on the UNC campus.

Seems some of you on this posting have a rather elevated view of yourself.......who cares if you went to the school or not? Most, nearly all, in fact, never were involved in pro football but they're Panther fans....UNC Chapel Hill is the oldest land grant University in the country and something all of us, regardless of our school, affiliation should be proud of and support....it's a North Carolina thing...

heels fans are the best duke fans only support when winning

I would just like to tell everyone who might try to buy tics Sunday outside the arena....Beware! I took my son Friday and bought 2 tics for the first session. Some guy apparently sold me 1 for 1st session and 1 for 2nd session without me knowing! It was same section and seats together. I did not even catch the fine print before going in and having the tics scanned. I guess I am too trustworthy of people and did not think someone would take advantage of a 8 year old! Needless to say we did not make it in and was fortunate to sell the tics but only for a fraction of what I paid for them!

Upper echelon?? Boy are you a snobby somebody. Oh and you must not be from the upper echelons of society either or you would know how to spell it.

i too got ripped off buying ticket outside the arena. $100 for a ticket that would not scan beware

We actually support winning or losing and even if we didn't you guys can talk.At that ACC title game(which i was at) we handled you.Three minutes left in the game the stadium was near empty and all that remained was a sea of the right color blue. Theres no loyalty in Carolina basketball. You weren't even down that much and that's a LOT of time.3 min and down 14? that could have been done with a bit of fan support but yall were to busy trying to turn on the gps

yo tarheel fans. better watch the game real hard tomorrow, because it's your last game of the season.

UW this one going away, raining down threes like you've never seen before.

Adding insult to injury, UW travels 3,000 miles to take UNC down in front of what's essentially their home crowd.

A-B-C-ya later, Tarheels! Don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!

WOOF WOOF!

Wow!!! I can see here I can't stand a chance commenting here with the post about UNC losing to UW. So C-Ya!!

Sorry Charlotte, you and your 20,000 baby blue holes weren't enough to knock DUKE off their championship perch.

Gritty road win for the Dukies, looking forward to a true neutral court game in Anaheim. Suck it, Charlotte!

Hey 9:15...if Duke fans only support when they're winning, that seems like pretty darned consistent support over the last, say, 25 years, huh?

Heck I'm 25 years old...looks like Duke's been winning championships and going to NCAAs my entire life (save '95).

Though it has been funny seeing the Walmart UNC bandwagon shrink and grow from their '01-'03 suckdom to the Hanstravel years to last year's disgrace to this year. Fickle bunch, you "die-hard Heel fans".
