It was a quiet locker room after ninth-ranked North Carolina lost to College of Charleston 82-79 in overtime Monday night. Not so much on twitter.

Good grief! This team stinks on ice! This is NOT the Carolina way. Thugs are not welcome on our team. We deserve better and if Roy can't deliver, he should be FRIED!!!

Is Henson's college career relevant yet? What's he done...sign with UNC, and that makes his career more important.

bunch of young guys, all used to being the best player on the floor. No ability to play as a team. They'll get better but this year is going to be a wash. Oh well.
He should be fired yet has brought us 2 national championships in the last 5 years. Wow, someone is overreacting. I agree that this is not the Carolina way however. John Henson should focus solely on making his own night by actually doing something productive on the offensive end of the floor.
Again, the arrogance of UNC-CH fans is palpable. Guess what? No one cares about your precious baby blue. Can't wait for K to humiliate you in a few weeks. The sorostitutes from UNC-CH will be openly crying. Such a shame.
I'm not a UNC fan. Calling for Roy's head...REALLY? He's a pillar of Chapel Hill basketball history. Again, not a fan of the program - but I have deep respect for Roy Williams and the UNC athletic program. What's wrong with all you perfect people? Go Cougars!

They have not and did not look like a "Carolina basketball team" last night. Totally out of whack; unsure; second-guessing;confused. I would always expect more from any Carolina team this far into a season. These guys should not be ranked in the top 20 after last evening's performance...and I am a Carolina fan, albeit a disappointed one.
What's with the story that is starting to bubble up concerning Wayne Ellington's residence at a UNC booster's house from last year? How many college students can afford to live in a 550K house while attending college?
Don't worry. The heat will be turned off the bball team once the UNC football hype machine starts up in a few months.
Cremins is a far better X's and O's coach.....we all know roy is more suited to recruiting and "running a program".
in the end roy is good, all top programs will lose a few they shouldn't, that is why they play the games.

gotta love people who get on here to make comments bashing 18 yr old kids. as far as i'm concerned Hensons tweet was the only one that could be remotely considered inappropriate, and I didnt even have a problem with that. As far as the person who referred to them as "thugs"....I can only take that be racism. Just b/c someone has less than stellar grammar doesn't mean they are a thug. But I'm sure that was from a state fan so i guess it makes sense.
Roy has completely lost this team. It's a group of thugs who clearly don't follow the Carolina way. Embarrassing!!!
In related news, Kansas has looked pretty good though, huh?
Actually Charleston was fairly laid back. The kids headed to Kicking Chicken, but that's because they don't card. Student section was only 2/3 full because of break. Marcus might be shocked to learn for most of these kids, Carolina is in Columbia.
Jayhawks are number 1 and Roy is losing to CofC.

They're all spoiled kids....the proof is in the Postings!! First of all, they should have half of their scholarship cut off, for losing to a team like that. Not when you're a team full of "High School All Americans". 5 "All Americans" vs. 5 "Off Brand" kids...and ya'll lose?? I'm a tarheel fan, but the postings by these guys have really made me look twice at the program. These kids are SPOILED BEYOND BELIEF, and have NO PRIDE. CAROLINA losing to Col. Of Charleston?? And Ed talks like its just another game? WTH?? the dukies will have a field day off those tweets...LOL
If that game is played 10 times, CofC wins 7 of them...they are just better than the holes
