ACC releases hoops schedule

The ACC released its basketball schedule today.

Some quick dates to note:

March 6: UNC at Duke: Now that Tyler Hansbrough is gone, can UNC continue its streak at Cameron Indoor Stadium?

Nov. 12, 14 or 16: State will open the season against Georgia State, although the exact date is still TBA

Dec. 5: Wake Forest at Gonzaga; UNC at Kentucky, N.C. State at Marquette

Dec 5: Wildcats will own Roy's Boys

The dynasty is back. Sorry Tar heel fans.

No, UNC will not continue it's streak at Cameron Indoor.

Pycho T will not continue his streak of flopping for insanely biased ref calls to win games with free throws. Real ball will have to be played by the heels.

The streak ends

You're probably right 4:57, at least this season. How long can Calipari run a (relatively) clean program before jumping ship to another school while leaving UK to deal with the mess?

A couple nice OOC matchups on December 5th.

5:01: Assuming you're a Dook fan, you're an idiot. Sure, Carolina gets some calls. But if there's any school in the land that gets more, it's Dook. And real ball? We've beat you handily four years in a row. I don't think Hansbrough flopping accounts for Dook losing by 15.

That's ridiculous to read a Dookie complain about flops. What a joke. Go slap a floor somewhere...

Yeah, 4:57, the dynasty is back... that is until Calipari leads the UK lemmings right into the NCAA death penalty.

6:23 - you're a joke. hansbrough took it to a whole new level. All u UNC fans say the Duke fans can't talk about flopping. Fact of the matter is your ex-boy flopped more than the entire Duke team did his 4 years in school. Thats why it pisses you off we're right.

Looks like the heels have their usual cupcake schedule.I see 10 gimme wins against middle school teams.I think duke's back to back championships isn't in jeopardy as the heels won't defend their title.

6:56, hahahahahahahaha

7:04: Cupcake schedule? Like Dook's is any tougher? What's your toughest nonconference game? Wisconsin? Georgetown? We have Michigan State, Texas, possibly Syracuse. Give me a break.

UNC can't help it's required to play NC State twice a year.

Anon 7:04 - give me a break, all teams play cupcakes. Assuming you are a Duke fan, explain to me how your schedule is so much more difficult than UNC's. Especially since UNC is playing Mich. St., @ Kentucky, & @ Texas between Dec. 1st and Xmas.

Are some of you really that daft? UNC has a very difficult schedule. Lets see, UNC gets to play Michigan State again, except now Michigan St. is more experienced and better. Then UNC plays Rick Barnes and Texas. Remind me again how that is a cupcake? Ohio State, yeah, that is a weak team. Kentucky, okay they have been down lately, but they still are elite.

University must play some cupcakes, it is how smaller schools get money. But this schedule cannot be objectively called easy.

Earth is calling, are you there?
